These collections are well worth picking up.A Fantasy Medley 3 contains two urban fantasy novellas and two fantasy novellas. I’m familiar wi. J. Hamby said A Fantasy Medley A Fantasy Medley 3 I'm giving this five stars because I felt the three authors I was familiar with delivered exactly what I have come to think of as their style. Or at least in the case of Hearne and de Bodard.In the case of Hearne I have to admit, I do not care for his style of writing at all. I find it too glib and messy and the dialogue cheesy. The action never is that grabbing and overall I find it an inexplicable entry into the success. . I'm giving this five stars because I felt the three authors I was familiar with delivered exactly what I have come to think of as their style. Requested pretty much because of Kevin Hearne Tracet I requested A Fantasy Medley from Netgalley pretty much because of Kevin Hearne. Then Laura Bickle rang a bell as the author of The Hallowed Ones, which I liked; and then Jacqueline Carey registered as the author of Kushiel's Dart, which was not to my taste.
