Very clear on dates and information, actually more helpful than his text.I especially like that it examines a time period and shows you what is happening in other parts of the world at the same time, all in one section, rather than tackling Rome or Egypt on their own. Seeing the chronology is a big bridge to recognizing world changes and world events and how they link up.I bought it used and got a great deal.
