Christina said Already a favorite book!!!. This is the third book we bought from this series, and my daughter loves them all. I thought I would note that there is no meat depicted in this book. I remember egg and dairy though. She loves to flip the pages as I read, and the pictures are great. Great pictures. This is perfect for the little ones that like a lot of page flipping. It gives me a chance to talk about the pictures more when she slows down. My daughter has loved these from the t. Could be better abcmom12 Firstly, this book is quite large which makes it easier for baby to turn pages but harder for a parent to hold in one hand.Second, while the photos are bright, I wish some of the food choices were removed, such as cookie and ice cream. Maybe throw in a chicken leg or ham picture instead, as NO protein was ever shown.Other than that, it can withstand serious abuse and drooling.. Good book, but they doubled the size of the book winej It's a very good book for my 18mo old learning new words. The only draw back is it is much larger than the original Baby's First book I got when he was born. It is double the size! It's good in theory as the pictures are bigger and bigger book to hold on to, but the smaller books are what I was going for due to limited space.
