Tim Mcnair said Mediocre story, juvenile porn. I can't decide whether it's porn masquerading as a detective story, or a detective story masquerading as porn. Neither are very good. Perhaps using a good editor would help. As you interview prospective editors, please be sure to ask if they know the difference between "your" and "you're.". Not worth the time I am not really snobby about books - I'll read almost anything through to the end and generally do not have really negative opinions about books. That being said, this book was a terrible waste of time. It was poorly written, with trashy scenes put in there (I can only assume) to be shocking. The dialogue was terrible and the writing in general was nothing special. There are so many other great thriller novels out there - read one of those instead.
