I enjoyed the dry British wit, the dry British corpse, the dry British nerd, and that the female protagonist was well written rather than simply being a collection of stereotypes or a gender-swapped man in al. If you've read #1, must read #2! This sealed my enjoyment of the 'Goon Squad' series, the first episode having been just a bit too brief. Very well-written & quirky little situations that seem deceptively banal until … they're not. Puppet Girl is a terrific character and Mr. Howard is one of those writers wh. "part two is even better than part one" according to Silea. The first installment set the stage, and in this second one, the action starts.I wish I could subscribe to this serial so new entries would just appear on my kindle like presents from a secret admirer.
