"Dolly's Second Children's Book" "Dolly Parton's "I Am A Rainbow" is an excellent children's book filled with a beautiful story about children's different moods and why they have such feelings. It is told in a very simple manner and it is filled with beautiful illustrations of colors and drawings. The book encompasses 23 pages and both Dolly and illustrator Heather Sheffield should be applauded for the hard work they have put into the book. Kids of all ages. It teaches children (and reminds adults) that people come in all different shades and with all sorts of different feelings. It is an entertaining read and a fun way to teach about emotions and diversity without being the least bit preachy! It is a book I buy for all the children in my life!
