"I learned a lot I never knew about the Christchurch 2 years of earthquakes" according to David Andree. I hate politics, and this book is mostly about politics and govenment interaction and inaction. However, I kept reading becasue the mayor seemed like such a good guy who really cared and the crisis was real and continuing. I supposed the most important thin I learned was how quickly a crisis fades from the "news" and how continuing the disaster an be. I hano idea that the eathquakes continued for over 2 years and how the aftershocks would undo the cle. good job Smart Shopper Pretty good book actuallywas not sure from the cover. The author was good and I would read another book by them again. Amazon Customer said Interesting read - lots of repetition. I had trouble staying on task reading because the author kept repeating. Because of the repetition, I never finished b\the book.
