Great for all ages. I learned a good bit. I might be forty with no kids (except my dogs), but I absolutely LOVE this genre of book geared towards children. You can usually count on amazing photographs, and this Kindle e-book, "Let's Explore the Moon: Moons and Planets for Kids" by Baby Professor, definitely delivered. I downloaded several more of Baby Professor's ebooks as soon as I finished this one5 minutes, maybe?.including gawking over the gorgeous pictures, and having lots of "ah"'s over several facts I didn't know. Every single page has a beautiful pic of our moon, and a couple of interesting facts about the moon tucked to the side. I really like the way. "beautiful photos and great information" according to Sierre. I use this book several times a month with my beautiful photos and great information Sierre I use this book several times a month with my 4 yo. One of our favorite hobbies is to go out when the moon is high and use an astrology app on my phone to look at the planets and moon. He uses this book on his tablet and has me read to him whatever moon phase applies to the night we're on! He soaks up the information and really loves seeing the clear photos, and then seeing the moon for himself high in the sky---or not on a new moon phase! I got this book while they were free several weeks ago. yo. One of our favorite hobbies is to go out when the moon is high and use an astrology app on my phone to look at the planets and moon. The text is baffling and uninteresting to a young reader. It completely misses the goal of providing a child with basic information. Also most of the pictures are far away shots of a full moon. Kids see this in the sky. They need surface shots and illustrations depicting phases, relationship to the earth/sun etc. Kid wanted nothing to do with this and I don't blame him.
