Amazon Customer said No pronunciation means not much learning. The problem with this calendar (as opposed to the good old Berlitz ones, for instance) is that it does not show the pronunciation of the French phrase, only the pronunciation of the verb being used in the sentence. Thus, if you're not already fluent, you can go along daily and mis-pronounce all the French you want, without even knowing it. Too bad Amazon is no longer carrying the French Berlitz desk calendar - that one had the pronunciation of the entire phrase as well as the English translation.. Great for beginner - intermediate Leawood Dave Easy to read and follow. There is a verb at the top in infinitive form, and then a sentence with the verb conjugated below. With translation, of course. Easy to read. Pleasant font. Well laid out. I will buy again next year.. Ellen Deller said ugly, no month or week display,. This was a disappointment. It's quite ugly, just cheap white paper with black writing. Most of all, there's no week or month display, making it hard to really use at a glance. The sentences or words seem rather random.
