Often times parents do not understand the reasons their child is melting down or behaving in some unacceptable way. The parents I work with often feel the child is deliberately acting out in order to gain the parent's attention or for some other reason other than the fact that the child has sensory . Great book My 10 yr old son has Asperger's and wants to read this book over and over. He can really relate to Benjamin.My husband and I both learned from it as well.
