Great follow up to the first book Amazon Customer Great follow up to the first book. I preferred Calder's second book to Shera's, but both were such great reads!. Rahul Gupta said ok read. a good read but not great, still hooks you for the next one.. Excellent inventive series When I first read that the author intended two book 1, followed by 2 books 2. I was dubious to say the least. The hardest part, once I decided to give him a shot was picking where to start. I won't argue that either book 1 was essentially the "real book 1"; because that really isn't the case. Strangely, it changes the perspective greatly if you choose one OR the other group to start.
