Mistakes which are likely to have crept into this work are my own.. Each has my deep gratitude for their help and advice. During that span of time, several people provided extensive help with editing, Doris Hoyt, Carla Homstad, Stu Bloom, Meg Bloom, and Linda Hoyt. From the Author This novel has been in the works for a fairly long time
Diane Carter said Ranger. This was a very good book, even for adults. It stresses the importance of protecting our wild places, not just for their beauty, but because of the animals who live in these places. The action was steady and believable for a work of fiction. I will definitely recommend this book.
Ranger is a young wolf, the only survivor of a murderous attempt to kill his entire family, who learns that he has magical powers. This is the story of how he deals with the tragic loss of his family while learning to harness his newly discovered powers to satisfy his innate desire to help others.
