A Customer said Great introductory book. Some of the negative reviews of this book seem to be from people who don't understand it's intent. This book is not for technical developers or architects - I do not even know why such a person would buy it/read it. It is for less technical management or for those who are looking to transition their skills - and want to start with some basic understanding. It's a good first step and very well written.. Elementary This book is all but 108 pages. The text and diagrams are representative of texts on computer science written in the '60s and '70s. The book also includes a loose page correcting page 13. There are better books out there for the non-technical reader.. "Good basic overview of e-commerce" according to A Customer. I read the other reviews and it seems to me that the techies find the book too basic and the non-technical execs find it very helpful. I'm in the latter group, so I found it the best thing I've read on just what e-commerce really is and how companies are actually using the technology. It was right on my level which I consider to be intermediate.
