Verity: Cursed #1

Read [Claire Farrell Book] # Verity: Cursed #1 Online * PDF eBook or Kindle ePUB free. Verity: Cursed #1 C. Melby said Disappointing. I decided to purchase this book because of the positive reviews- and I have to say that it was all I could do to finish it. As someone who reads a great deal of YA lit. this book is a waste of space on my kindle. While not the most original plot, there are many YA authors who have written great stories with similar back stories. I thought Id give this book a shot and found that I had to make myself finish (which is saying something because I love to read everything)

DESCRIPTION:

Literally. Sixteen-year-old Perdita Rivers has spent her entire sheltered life being told what to do. Perdy’s on a mission to find the truth, but maybe the truth is the danger she should hide from, after all.. Even though he plays hot and cold, she’s sure there’s more to it, but she’s kind of distracted by the sense she’s being followed - not to mention the rumours of wild animal sightings that seem to mean more to her new crush’s family than they should. Her new best friend’s brother is the boy of Perdita’s dreams. Lately, she’s felt ready for a change, and the universe seems to agree

As someone who reads a great deal of YA lit. this book is a waste of space on my kindle. While not the most original plot, there are many YA authors who have written great stories with similar back stories. I thought I'd give this book a shot and found that I had to make myself finish (which is saying something because I love to read everything). The characters are forgettable, the dialogue so forced that I found myself skipping pages and no. A Fast-Paced Werewolf Story Sixteen-year-old Perdita is not like other teens. She lives on the outskirts of Dublin, Ireland with her father and grandmother. Her father is extremely overprotective; he won't even let her spend the night at her friend Tammie's house. Not to mention, her father and grandmother are always arguing. Her grandmother wants her to enjoy a normal teenage life but her father wants to keep her protected at all times - even at the expense of her social life. Then Amelia and Nathan move to town and shake up Perdita's ordinary little life. Perdita has been dreaming about Na. Erin Chambers said Great start to a new series!. Everything in Perdita's little Irish town has been mellow, if not boring, for as long as she remembers She's had the same best friend for years, her grandmother and father have fought like cats and dogs ever since she can remember, and she's always been the outcast or social freak at school. Yet for all the lack of action and excitement, her father has always kept a protective eye on her and a tight reign on her activities. Don't go out after dark, don't wear anything to draw attention to yourself, and no boys allowed! Those are the rules that have been set. Well
